Is it possible to hire video camera's in WDW resorts?
Or do I have to go off site for one. Would appreciate any web links you may have.

To be honest as the US works on a different recording format to us it may be very difficult and expensive to find a compatible camera. The cameras are so cheap now it may work out best buying one here and getting used to it before you go.

Wow £97 for two weeks, bet there is insurance on top of that!! Could get one for about £200 and keep it for as long as it works! Best bet is look here for some purchase prices to get an idea.

Hi goofy fish, many thanks for that.

I know when we first went to wdw, you could hire one on I-Drive, and they transferred it onto the correct tape for UK. I have no real need for one in uk, so renting might be better i will have a look at the prices.

I must admit, when I rented a digital one they were fairly new on the market and were around £7-800 to buy new, so renting one for a few £100 was quite good value

With camcorder prices now it may be cheaper to buy a basic, low spec. one to take
