Hi, i was wondering which rides/shows you can and can't video at US and IoA.
thanks:cool:

I know you are allowed to record all the shows at Universal, but no clue about the rides.

Sometimes, you get the actors to "do a little something" if they see you with a camcorder. Like, at the Horror Makeup Show, one of the actors went up to the camcorder and acted out while looking directly into the lens (great if you are going to watch it again...more personalized...hehe). And another time, like at the Ghostbusters Show one of the guys comes up and shakes his behind in the camera (though, I know you don't care about that...LOL...besides the guy that did that isn't there anymore).

But those are just some examples of the advantages of recording shows.

That's cool Fly Fly! I will take my cam corder on my next trip!

I know that at Shrek you can not even videotape the room that the cue is in while you wait. I went to take a picture of the room (which I didn't see posted that you can't and don't know if it is) and was rudely told that it would be the last picture I took at this attraction. MIB is posted no pictures as I believe most rides were, but the Makeup show allows and somewhat encourages video and photos. Animal planet allowed pictures too.

It will say on the signs out front. Most say no flash photography or videotaping. Interestingly enough, none of the signs at HHN said no videotaping. They just said no flash photography, yet we were yelled at for it. Some of our group ended up going to guest services about that. I wonder how it turned out...

It went well overall. I will eventually post a trip report on it. I think...
