Victoria's SEcret $10 card stolen from mail item!

We get $10 "gift Cards" from VC since we registered online...Got our little brochure today & the card was GONE! It is just a little booklet so it wouldn't be terribly hard to get it out of there.
Not a huge deal--but hey, isn't it a felony to tamper w/ the mail?? (NOT blaming our mailman...doesn't look his style)
Perhaps VC needs to go w/ a sealed envelope...

Ha That is crazy that happed to us on the card that comes with your order we got "brochure" and the spot for the card was there but no card! Mine was in a sealed box so it never had one in it or it was taken at the warehouse where my order was processed. I got another one when I made my purchase in the store yesterday, mentioned to the clerk what happened and she was like oh well!

It also could have fallen off in some of the machinery at the post office.

The card is not secure on the mail piece.... It gets destroyed in the automated mail sorting equipment.

This happened to me once with VS free panty. I called CS and they said machine sometimes malfunctions and doesn't attatch them. Sent me a card for a free panty up to 12$ that is good for any style and never exoires. Just call them

I work for the PO and can vouch for the machinery being brutal. They're not supposed to run Netflix through the sorters, but they sometimes do. So you may get just the front part of the envelope without the dvd inside.

About two months ago my boyfriend got an empty envelope from Kohl's. It should have contained a 15,20 or 30% off coupon. We just had to laugh about it. If we were actually wanting to buy something that week it would have been a different story though!

Mail "rifleing" does happen though. My parents had bought a 25th Anniversary Toyota Camry a few years ago and the dealership sent them a medallion that was exclusive to this car. It was ripped right out of the package. It was a nightmare dealing with the post office on this one because there was no retail value on the item and it could not be replaced.

There was also a mailman here locally that was convicted of stealing money out of cards.

You just never know.

Yes, same here. It probably got ripped off in the macherinery. People always first suspect the 'mailman' but the vast majority of the time, it's the equipment (and lousy packaging).
