Just made our only ADR for our April trip -- scored dinner at Victoria and Albert's in the Victoria room! :cool1: We haven't been since January 2009 so looking forward to the new format.
:cheer2:

Enjoy!! One of these days I'd like to try it there:)

Victoria and Albert's is the signature restaurant at The Grand Floridian. It is Michelin starred and a top rated restaurant in the US.

The new format...there is the main dining room with the prix fixe menu -- with or without wine. Price is around $125/person without wine.

The Victoria room is a smaller room, with each table served by a dedicated server team, who also do some of the dinner preparations tableside. The menu is the same as served at the chef's table, also with a wine option. Price is around $200/person without wine

The chef's table is a dedicated table/environment where you can interact with the kitchen and chef. According to the reservation clerk it fills 180 days out consistently -- a big draw for local Orlando folks. Price is $225/person without wine.

The only thing left to do is to make reservations at the Simba club for DD 10.

Very cool! I am so looking forward to my first V&A experience this July! :goodvibes

Thanks for the tip! I hadn't heard about the new format before this. You can bet it will be on my 'must do' list for one of our next trips. Sounds fabulous...although we have never been able to score the chef's table in a number of tries, so I'd probably shoot for that one first! Enjoy your wonderful dinner experience!:goodvibes

Congratulations. V & A is great. Did you think about making kids club reservations at Grand Floridian instead of Animal Kingdom? This way your DD is close by if there is a problem.

Its awesome. We got married in WDW and had our wedding dinner there. It was the best. We went back for our 5yr anniversary and ate in the main dinning room it was still the best. Enjoy it.
