Victoria Falls lounge at AKL

Does anyone know if you can order the appetizers or flatbreads from Jiko while enjoying drinks in this lounge? Looks like a very nice place to enjoy a cocktail. Do they serve any specialty drinks there? Thanks in advance.

Yes, we were there last week and they did have an appetizer. They also had a few specialty drinks...I had a Victoria Falls Mist -- it was melon, citrus and banana liqours along with citrus juice and sprite...very good!! We didnt have the apps as we were waiting to go to Boma...but one of the nibblers was a selection of the desserts from Boma...which are excellent!!!

Enjoy...it was a nice place to go on our first night and have a drink and unwind from the travel to WDW before we had dinner.

It's a pretty lounge..we try to stop in the nite we dine at Jiko's.

I liked it better whan they had Safari Amber on draft. Only special beers now are Tusker and Zambezi. The "usual suspects" are also available,

Can you go to the Lounge for drinks and appetizers if you don't have a dinner ressie and are staying at another on property hotel?

Yes, in fact we were staying at BWV and drove over to AKL. They gave us a 3 hr pass to park on site. We wandering around taking in the lobby, and savannah in the back of the hotel, then stopped for a drink before heading down to Boma. We didnt need a ressie or have to be a AKL guest to go the Victoria Falls

Thanks Poobear. I thought you needed a PS to go to the AKL, so we didn't venture over on our recent trip. I would love to stop byt he lounge, and now I know we can!
