[Crazy for Love]

We have finally nailed the US Navy down and were able to get our vacation for Christmas this year! So I tried to get V&A chef's table for DH and I and well...You guessed it no luck. Any ideas? I know they book starting out 6 months but we werent able to do that. As always with the Navy we never know when we can go...Plz and help is great.

I would make a PS for the Dining Room and keep tryin for the chefs table. If you end up gettin it you can just cancel the dining room. Good luck

I agree with Mike..Make reservations for the dining room and continue to check on the chefs table. Even if you "just" have dinner in the dining room it's WONDERFUL!!! It's also much more romantic in the dining room.

I second what Mike said... PS the Main room at least, that way no matter what.. your in...and even if you don't get a good answer before you go... call while your there.. you might get lucky!

We are returning to V&A for our 6th visit in Dec. We considered trying the chef's table for something different, since we've always sat in the dining room, but we again chose the dining room. We just didn't want to lose the romance. V&A is always a highlight of the trip for us.

But as others have already pointed out, the main dining area is quite nice.

They used to have a waiting list for cancellations.........

We did it last year, and lucked out.

It can't hurt to call and talk to someone.

I agree with what everyone else is saying. Make ressies and see if you can get in for the chef's table later on. Either way it will be delicious!!!
