I really am trying to push for Hubby and I to go to Victoria and Alberts Chefs Table on our 2010 trip.... I am working having my Dad and SMom come for a few days of the trip (not the whole trip) so they can watch her while we do a few adult things... LIKE the Chefs Table.... I think hubby would LOVE it (well me too) and just looking for some info - costs - etc so I can tell him more about it - other then YOU will just love it... HA HA HA...

THanks so much

You might want to click here for what may have been the best review ever of CT, with photos and comments.

Last I heard the price at CT is $165 per person plus tax and tip, with an additional $70 ++ for the wine pairings.

And if you even remotely like wine, do the wine pairings....you won't be disappointed. V&A (Chef's Table and dining room) rank up there with my fave all time WDW experiences.

I agree with all the other comments.

But if you don't manage to get the Chef's Table (as there is only one party there per evening), don't write off the main dining room as an option. Chef's Table is definitely an "experience", but the main dining room is still very good.

We just visited the Chef's Table a few weeks ago. If you are interested, I added (hopefully successfully) a link to my in progress review of it...

It was an exceptional, special meal! BriarRosie rightly suggested considering the main dining room too, I agree. We would happily return to eat there as well! :thumbsup2 And, one could argue that the main dining room is actually more romantic and intimate a setting.

The meal at the Chef's Table is now $175 per person for the food, and a steal of a price of $70 per person for wine pairings (for me, 7 generous pours! a great price when you break it down, and they served some really lovely wines).

Let me know if you have any specific questions, I would be happy to help! :goodvibes

Thank you all so much and I am enjoying the trip reports... in case we dont have a "sitter" for DD5 just to make sure - children are not allowed in V & A correct???

Correct.

However, since she will be 5, or maybe 6 by then, you could use the Cub's Den (aren't you staying at WL?). Kids must be 4 for that, or there are sitter services. Our DD was only 3, but thankfully my sis and her dh were there for a few days as well!

Also, even if kids could go (and our DD is used to eating out) this is a LONG meal. I think we were there from 6-10 pm.

Hope it all works out! Have a great time planning :goodvibes

We are going to Victoria and Alberts in June with two other couples. Couldn't get the Chef's table but wanted to know if there was any way to do something special for the group in the main dining room? It will be our first and time at Victoria and Alberts and we just don't no what to expect.

Trust me...V&A is special all by itself. No other plans needed!! Do the wine pairings...that always kicks it up a notch for me. Go and have a wonderful time!!

bpm0529: I guess it depends what you mean by "special". They have a direct # that you can call and I'm sure they can tell you what you might want to know.
