By popular request. And yes the photos were taken before any of it was eaten.

Amuse Bouche. Don't ask me what all that stuff is.

Oooooohhh! Looks delicious! Thanks for the photos. I am counting down the days to our 10th anniversary dinner on 10/24!!:hippie:

i'm so sorry to say...nothing in those pictures looked that yummy:confused:

TDC Nala, thanks so much for posting these pictures. It all looks delicious ... even the lamb which I don't usually care for. And I love the amuse bouche ... why eat one when you can have four? :rotfl2:

Edited to ask: Was the foie gras still on the menu when you were there?

I don't care for it either, that is why it is my friend's lamb and not my lamb.

If my friend's name was Mary I could type that Mary had a little lamb. But his name is not Mary. And "Bruce had a little lamb" just sounds wrong. (None of my other friends got the lamb but their names aren't Mary either)

And four amuse bouche in one! :yay: I'm hoping next time for the Hollywood Squares of amuse bouche.

Tell your friend to get his money back!! LOL! I want Oybolshoi's menu when I go. :thumbsup2

Great review and pics. Those desserts look heavenly - the rest of it is just a little bit too fussy for me.

Thank you for posting! It all looked great to us! Jason's 1st trip to V&A in Oct. and the report made him very excited!

That looks great!!! We are also going next month (for the first time) and I can't wait. We wanted the Chef's Table but had to wait list for that. Is it true you can get the Chef's Table menu in the main dining room also?

Thanks.

Wow! It all looks fantastic! I can't wait until next month for my first V&A experience. :goodvibes

Thanks for posting these pictures! We've been to the V&A's Chef's Table once, in 2001, and are about to return to the main dining room next month.

One question - pardon my ignorance - but how does one eat the cheese course? With a knife and fork? How about the grapes served with the cheese course? (I would know what to do at a cocktail party, but I don't think I've ever had a cheese course at such a formal restaurant before. ;) )

Not sure. We've done the CT twice, and both times we had dishes that were not offered in the dining room; though we saw dishes for the dining room that we did not have.

Anyway, thanks for the pictures and the review!!

Thanks for the great review & pictures! :thumbsup2 My yogurt isn't very appetizing anymore after seeing these! LOL! :rotfl: We're looking forward to another fabulous Chef's Table dinner in a few months! :yay:

Thanks.

I did last year, my sister wouldn't go this year so its back next year for me.

We were told be the maitre'd that you could order the Chef's Table menu in the dining room. He did say that they need advance notice of a few days. You can always call the restaurant and confirm how far in advance they would like to know.
