Hi everybody,

for my next visit I would like to have the chef menu in the restaurant, but my wife and their parents prefer the normal menu. What I like about the chef table menu is that you get to try more desserts. Has anybody tried asking for two desserts (having just the regular menu) ?!?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Oliver

Oooops: Please move this to the restaurant forum. Sooooorrry!

Try and persuade them to go for the chefs menu its WONDERFUL, I went to Narcoosses on the sunday before I went to V&As so I popped in to ask if I could have the chefs menu in the main dining room and they said yes. It was amazing, no wine pairing but as I got plastered on the normal wine paring Ididn't think it would be a good idea on the chefs menu.

Thank you PaulaSB12, my wife and I have done both already, so I know what I have to expect and believe me, the chef table menu is to die for! :woohoo: And I am working on it!

I just want to know whether somebody has tried to get hmmm let's say more desserts.

Oliver

I would encourage you with my whole being to try and get a seating at the chef's table itself. You may have already done this but if not, you simply must! It was an experience of a lifetime...seriously. Go for the wine pairing too! It's a thing of beauty.

I think you should make your wife give up her dessert, since she and her parents are being so darn difficult re: chef's table menu!:rotfl:

Seriously, I think you should call and ask if you could pay an "upcharge"( or whatever they would call it at V&A's, I am sure it would be a classier word than that) and if you do, please report back and let us know!

I've only ever had the regular menu, but I would go for the chef's menu.

My DH and I were actually able to book the Chef's Table this morning for our upcoming 10th Anniversary trip at the end of April!!! It was not easy to do either! We tried calling the last couple of days, and it was gone in a flash! It must be done 180 days out. We are so very excited, and can't wait for a wonderful experience! :)

Good luck with your decision!

Congrats on the Chef's Table, Mcr5298! It's amazing. You won't regret it!

I've heard the Chef's table is pretty amazing. But, it's hard to imagine it being as romantic as the normal dining froom. I've never tried it as it takes me 3.5 hours to eat in the ordinary dining room.

I'm sure last time I was there you could get a few small desserts together (can't spell the proper word), or was that in the Yachtsman? Anyway, if not, I'm sure they'd let you have extra desserts at an additional cost - it is Disney after all.
