Vibrations on Wonder Aft Since Refurbishment?

Hi all, first post! Thanks for all the good info. I’m sailing in March 2018 in rooms 6140 and 6142 on the Wonder. Those are very far AFT, but are the only connecting rooms I can find in our price range.

Given that this is only a 4 night Port Canaveral to Bahamas cruise, do you think the vibration concerns would be any less? Maybe they don’t have to go full speed as much?

After reading these posts, I’m considering canceling our plans and rebooking on the Dream. I appreciate any advice.

Thanks!!

I have family on the Wonder EBPC right now, deck 2 mid. They can't sleep bc of the vibrations

That's not good! I was on the Wonder a few weeks ago, but this time I was forward (pretty close to midship as well) and I didn't feel a thing. I hope things get better for your family.

I spoke to my family on the wonder now. My family has 2 rooms on deck 2, and they said they were more aft than mid (as I previously reported). one adult and 2 kids had no problems sleeping, but 2 adults could not sleep with the engine vibrations. They have been moved to 2 different staterooms (not sure where) and my mom says that it is better.

This could be just a case of some people being more sensitive to the vibrations, I'm not sure since 60% of their party did ok. I'm also guessing that the ship is booking it down to PC, while Alaska and other cruises might not need as much speed so the vibrations may be less.

How far forward would you go on Wonder to eliminate as much as possible?

We are currently in 7604, but we could move forward 4-5 cabins almost to mid.

Thanks!
