Via Napoli ?

Does anyone know if the tomato sauce has "chunks" in it or is it a smooth sauce? I know...a silly question. I love pizza but hate chunks of tomato and don't want to waste my time here if I will hate it :).

I'm talking about pizza sauce not what would be in spaghetti.
 
I don't remember our pizzas w/red sauce ever having chunks, and I usually notice that.

You can also get a Quattro Formaggi pizza which doesn't have red sauce, or you can build your own w/o the red sauce. We've tried all of these options and each one is simply amazing. :goodvibes
 
It's not actually sauce, it's just crushed tomatoes. They're crushed pretty smooth, so you should be ok if you don't like larger pieces of tomato.

Thanks for the info and the pics :goodvibes. I've seen a couple before and just didn't know if there was a chunk hiding beneach that cheese :lmao:.

I may just go with the cheese pizza unless I see a few as we walk through to our seats ;).

It indeeed looks very good!
 
I am not big on "chunks" either :laughing: and have never noticed any here. I LOVE this pizza. Hope you enjoy! :goodvibes
 
It is obviously a texture thing w/ me as I can eat the sauce and it not bother me. I LOVE pizza and this is one of my DD's picks. She had originally wanted Chefs de France and now has changed her mind. I've kept both ressies just in case she changes her mind again ;). When I finalize I will drop the runner up.

What I want at Via Napoli is the Zeppole (I know I didn't spell it correctly, sorry...)
