Via Napoli

I am confused. Is Via Napoli a counter service or table service? Are there going to be two table service restaurants in Italy? We are going in September and have a reservation for Tuttio Italy but I would rather change it is Via Napoli is a table service.

Its table service. Its suppose to soft open next month (walk up) with reservations being taken beginning Oct.

The menu is quite similar to the one at Disneyland..

Yes, there will be two table service restaurants in Italy. The demand for table service restaurants is up.

What we don't know for sure yet is whether it will also have the capacity to do carryout (such as pizza slices or sandwiches).

Its DDP status has not been announced yet. But I do not think the resort pizza delivery standard of 2 TS per pizza would be carried over to pizzas that cost close to $50 so we can't tell how it will work if they accept it.

FYI, those $47 pizzas are HUGE. They feed 8-10 people easy. That's why they cost so much. If you have 10 people, and you order a $47 pizza, everyone's share is less than $5, which is what Napolini (the CS adjacent to Naples at DLR) charges for one slice of "take out" pizza...

For the record, the pizza at Naples (and soon to be Via Napoli) is EXCELLENT. It's nothing like what you will find in the majority of the U.S. pizza-wise. It is the closest to true Neapolitan pizza that you will find outside of Italy, in the U.S.A.
