Via Napoli - splitting check

Hey! We will be at Disney World in July. Our first trip with another family. We will be on the dining plan but they will not be. We love Via Napoli and would like to go with them. Is that possible. I see where I can book reservation for 8 but is there an issue with paying if it is 2 seperate families?

I think the only issue will be if you try and order a large pizza for everyone. If the other family is ordering all of their own food it will be no problem splitting the check.

Won't be an issue even then. Large pizzas aren't covered on the DDP, so the meal would be OOP.

For Via Napoli try and get a table away from the main room. it is very loud in there!

It shouldn't be a problem, just be sure to make it clear you how you are splitting the check and payment method at the onset. Service at Via Napoli is notoriously mediocre (but the amazing pizza makes up for it) so you'll want to ensure your plan is understood at the beginning of the meal. As others have said there are also some limitations on what you can do with the dining plan there.

Not a question about splitting checks at Via Napoli, but rather splitting pizza. I know you can do half and half toppings, but does anyone know if you can possibly do quarters topping-wise for that really large mezzo metro pizza? It certainly looks big enough in pictures, but I don’t know if it’s something they allow or not.
