Via Napoli question

Just wondering - since seems to be a more upscale pizza type of place--- do you think they would allow my son to order an individual pizza without sauce and just the cheese on it? (from the adult menu, for my older child)
Also, for the kids selections, wondering if the pizza choice there would be of better quality than say your standard counter service kids pizza like the one's at pizzafari. (this one likes sauce)

You're in luck, there is actually a pizza on the menu called Quattro Formaggi, which is a 4-cheese pizza with no sauce, it's yummy.

I also believe the children's pizza offerings are made in the same style as the adults.

I believe they use fresh mozzarella, not shredded, and not a whole lot of it. I don't know if the result would be some bread with a few spots of cheese. It may not be what you and your child might be expecting.

Thanks - this place sounds great, I'm going with it.
He wouldn't actually mind at all if it was big mozza piece and spotty on bread, it'll work out.

It is wonderful pizza. The server we had was very accommodating. I'm sure they'd make any modifications you'd like. Heck, they handle plenty of guests with allergies, so I'm sure a sauceless pizza wouldn't be a big deal.

We all had adult pizzas so I can't help with the question about the quality of the kid pizzas.

Next time we go, we're going to order the $40 ginormous pizza for the 4 of us.

It may also depend on the waiter. When I was there in Nov/Dec I ordered the quattro pizza (1/4 ham, 1/4 artichoke, 1/4 eggplant, and 1/4 mushroom) and asked to substitute extra ham, artichoke, or eggplant for the mushroom part and was told no. I then asked if they could just leave the mushroom part off then and have just plain cheese for that section and was again told no.

Wow! That ginormous pizza sounds interesting. Has anyone ever got it? If so how was it? We have a big party going there and im sure several people would want pizza.

I order the Via Napoli four cheese pizza and have them add red marinara sauce and have never had a problem It is absolutely delicious

thanks all , I'm going to have him order the 4 cheese pizza, it sounds great and won't need the substitution. It'll be nice to try a new place this time around. I am trying to book mostly new to us places and only a couple of the ones we've been to, for fun.
