During the Via Napoli soft-opening, I know you can't make an ADR. However, since we'll be there later this month, I'm curious how easy it has been to get a table there? Has anyone walked up when it opens and gotten in easily? Is it busier for dinner? A mid-afternoon lull? Thanks!

With these Pizza prices it should be real easy!

Ah, no worries - we're doing the DxDP this time (before DD becomes a Disney adult). If we do lunch, I'm going to have:

Appetizer: Contadino Salad - A colorful array of farm fresh greens, fagiolini, fennel, radish coins and tomatoes tossed in a red wine vinaigrette - $10.00

Entree: Fusiloni Trapanese - Large cork screw pasta tossed in a southern italian pesto of vine ripened tomatoes, almonds, basil - $17.00

Dessert: Gelato Frizzante - Ice cream soda Italian style, made with San Pellegrino Aranciata and Vanilla Ice Cream - $10.00

Yum!

I think it has only been open for a few days, so I think it is too soon to tell how easy it will be for walk ups over the next month. I will be able to officially report back in a little over a week! We are planning on trying to get in for dinner on the 19th. :goodvibes

I plan to check it out in a week or so. I'm leery of the prices so I don't know that we'll eat there but I am curious to see how long the lines are. I'm also wondering where it is exactly.

Do the math and compare it to other Epcot locations.

An individual at $15-$17. Serves 1. That means an entree for $15-17. Quite equivalent to any other TS at Epcot and notably cheaper than several.

A 20" at $25-$28. Serves 2-4 (costs 2 DDP credits). Even using the low end, this turns into an entree for $12-$14. A very good deal for Epcot TS. The fact that this could easily serve 3 or 4 makes it that much better.

A 1/2m at $34-$36. Serves 4-6 (costs 4DDP credits). Again, using the low end, this translates into less than $10 per person, a HUGE deal for Epcot TS locations.

So, if just looking for everyday pizza, yes, it's expensive. However, for the style of pizza, experience, and location, it's actually clocking in at a great bargain, especially for the larger ones.

And considering that the real traditional Neopolitan pizza place by me is ALSO $15-$20 for an individual pie... Via Napoli is right along the same price range... SIGN ME UP!

Anyone know if, during the soft opening, you can go up to Via Napoli when it opens and make a reservation for dinner for that night? Or is it stricly walk-up and put your name on the list?

I was able to go online and make an ADR for lunch for Sept 11th there was also a 230 available.. We will be using DDP getting a pepperoni pizza and a pasta and sharing (DH &I) and also getting two different desserts to share.. I cant wait!
