Via Napoli Large party

Does Via Napoli not release large tables early? We hit our 180 day mark yesterday and our Travel agent made all of our reservations. We had no problems getting everything we wanted except for Via Napoli.

We are a party of 9. Disney told our Agent they didn't have any tables open for us. When i checked online i saw the same thing for every day we are there. However, when i selected a table of 8 it found seats. So do they hold off on the party size of 9 to 14 till closer out?

Right now we booked 2 reservations - one for 5 and one for 4. They are about 30 minutes spaced out. Our plan right now is to go a bit early on the first and ask them if we can have the tables together. I'm going to keep checking every day but i found it a bit odd that out of all my dining plans Via is the one that is giving me trouble.

We were able to book, BOG, OHana, Mickey's back yard bbq, chef mickey, Hollywood and Vine, Trex(had to call directly), Sci-Fi, Via ( 2 reservations)

Via Napoli does seat 9, so I believe that for your timeframe there are no openings to accomodate this size group. Keep checking to see if you can get your groups scheduled closer together, and when you arrive you can ask if they can try to seat you together or at least next to each other. They will try, but there are no guarantees.

Via Napoli has gotten extremely popular in Epcot, so I have found that this is one of those restaurants that if you have a large group or are going when it is a busy time, you need to book right away.

thanks for the update. We called right at 7am on our 180 mark and this was actually trying to be scheduled on the 8th day of our trip so we couldn't really do anything different. I will keep checking every day.

VN does have a long table that accommodates large parties, but since your TA made 2 separate reservations 30 minutes apart, the restaurant has you booked for 2 smaller tables at different times. The long table might be filled when you arrive so it would be better for you, rather than the TA, to keep checking online to see if you can find one reservation for your entire group or at least another reservation closer to one of the times you have already booked.
