VIA NAPOLI, Has anyone had Pizza there ?

I have a reservation for VIA NAPOLI, and I am excited about trying the Pizza there.

I have conventional American Pizza tastes, like Pepperoni, Sausage, Onions, Green Peppers, Mushrooms.

Rarely do we go outside that style of Pizza Toppings, thin crust preferred, or a pastry flaky middle sized crust also.

I would love to hear about any Pizzas anyone has tried, especially if you sampled more than one.

What did you like ?

If you had left overs and took them home, did they pack them in a smaller PIZZA box?

I want a slice right now !

If you check over at the review boards there are several reviews plus google via napoli epcot reviews and find even more. All the reviews have been very good. Now I noticed their pizza options are pretty authentic tho, and from what I understand they do not alter their toppings. Meaning if you order a certain pizza you'll only get it the way the menu describes it. Which is very rare in a WDW restaurant so DH and I plan on ordering individual pepperoni pizza (pretty big) and the chicken parm with a side of marinara (pasta comes in a torte no sauce) to share.. We have lunch next Sat!!!

We ate there shortly after it opened and loved it. We had the 1/2 meter margharita pizza and it was really good. I generally HATE Disney pizza so this was a nice surprise. We liked it so much we have reservations there for our February trip!

I read some raving reviews from locals on Yelp! It seems like the pizza above all other options in the Orlando area. I was able to get lunch reservations for our trip in 2 weeks.

Yes its a TS not a CS so it would be a good idea to have an ADR for it as its very new and quite popular, ADRs are recommended for ALL TS restaurants in WDW

Throw your "American" pizza conventions out the window. If you are Pizza Hut type of person, this is NOT anything like that.

This is pizza like they make in NAPLES, Italy, which is to say, it's NOTHING like "American" pizza. For starters, don't expect lots of cheese. The margherita pizza is mostly a think layer of sauce "dotted" with fresh mozzerella and whole, fresh basil leaves.

The crust is exceptionally thin, crispy and chewy.

The "four cheese" pizza has NO sauce. It's a white pizza. Has garlic, cheese, olive oil and some herbs.

Even the pepperoni and sausage are not like you are probably used to.

By all means, try it! But, know going in that you can't order a pizza the way you are used to eating it (they don't even have most of those toppings you mentioned available).

I am excited to eat there on our Sept. trip - but I look at the menu and might want to try something else! The other stuff looks great too.

The pizza here is outstanding. For lunch on my family's August trip, I had the individual pepperoni while my brother had the individual margherita. Both were excellent and full of lots of flavor. I highly recommend eating there.

The pizza is amazing! I really enjoyed the white pizza. The reason it is so much better than any other pizza in Orlando is partly because of the water. Most pizza in Orlando is not that great due to the water. Our waiter at Via Napoli explained to us that in addition to all the pizza ingredients coming straight from Italy, the water minerals are imported and added to duplicate the water in Italy.

According to the restaurant's owners, the water is imported from areas of the US with an identical mineral content to the water in Naples. There was a big interview last week on the Inside The Magic podcast with the exec chef and the PAtina folks.
