Has anyone ordered an entree other than the pizza?

What did you have? How was it?

Thanks!

Kerri

Yes. We ordered the eggplant parm. It wasn't nearly as good as the pizza. I wouldn't get it again. My dd got the spaghetti and meatballs on the kids menu. I tasted it and thought it was pretty good. She would order it again if we go back.

We all had the Family style salad to go along with our Pizzas and while the rest of us had pizza my son odered Rigatoni with Chicken and peas in cream sauce (it was darn tasty)

I had the eggplant parm too. There were about 4 or 5 thin, and I mean thin slices.

Here in NY that would be considered the appetizer portion and no way would it be the meal.

We also asked for the salad and were told, its only if you both order pizza. Dh was persistent and they finally gave it to us.

We are in no hurry to go back for sure. In fact, we are going to Tutto instead in December.

I had the eggplant last August and didn't love it.
We were just there this past May and I had:
Linguine Frutti de Mare - shrimp, clams, mussels and squid tossed in marinara piccante .
Absolutely delicious! One of the best things I have ever eaten at Disney. :lovestruc

I had the Mezze Rigatoni alla Creme con Pollo (Creamy Chicken and Peas) and it was FABULOUS!! I would definitely recommend it if you are thinking of something other than pizza.

Sounds good. Was it spicy?

I had this too and it was one of the best things I've eaten in all of WDW!!! Yum! cant wait for Sept to go back!!!:cool1:

Thanks all! I'm planning on lunch at Via Napoli for the Candlelight Processional, and one of my sons doesn't loooooooooove pizza. The creamy chicken and peas sounds nummy! I think we'll avoid the eggplant parm!:sad2:

Kerri :santa:

DH had pasta and meatballs. He really enjoyed it. They did a great job of not overcooking the pasta.

Had the spaghetti and meatballs last week... so good, that and the pizza, that we went back a second time!
meatballs, they did remind me a bit of when you have a party and buy a big bag of those frozen small meatballs, though. Spaghetti and sauce were great!

A friend of ours had someting... oh, candella pasta or something like that and LOVED it.

For an appetizer we tried the soup that had beef tortillini and my girls literally FOUGHT over it, that's how much they enjoyed it!

My husband and I ate there this past May with a friend. He and I both had the Linguine Frutti de Mare and agree. It was sooo good! Our friend had the Mezze Rogatoni all con Pollo and loved it. She let us have a bite and I have to agree it was delicious. I'm meeting her down there again in Sept and we plan on trying Via Napoli again. Can't wait! This time though I think I want to try a pizza.

Speak of the devil! Hi friend!:rotfl::rotfl: I'm determined to order a pizza when we're down there in Sept, but may snitch another bite of your chicken and peas if you order it again.:rotfl::rotfl: We may have to share!:rotfl: In fact, if Rich and Adrien order something different, I may have to ask for a saucer just to sample ya'lls choices.lol

Had the chicken parm with the "spaghetti Torte". The spaghetti thing was a hard inedible brick of old spaghetti. I thought the chicken parm was okay, but when my wife tried it, she asked me "you actually like this?", as if no human actually could. We will never go back, that's for sure.

Other reviews have been decent, so maybe we caught it on a bad day. A VERY bad day.

We ate at Via Napoli on Saturday July 2nd and everyone,(me, wife, son, daughter and son)raved about our meal. No one had the pizza. We started out with the calamari as an appetizer which was awesome. Then added the arancini which was out of this world delicious! My wife and daughter ordered the eggplant parmigiana and cleaned their plates. My youngest son and I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and smiled all through our meal. My oldest son ordered the chicken parmigiana and finished every last bite.

We finished with the zeppole di ricotta....decadent! My wife, son 25 and daughter 22 enjoyed a pitcher of sangria with the meal.....ahhhhh!

The best meal of our vacation.

Loved the spaghetti and veal meatballs last trip. Also had a dessert with San Pelligrino orange soda and vanilla ice cream or maybe it was gelato. That was great too!

DH had the spaghetti and meatballs and I had the candele (think lasagne with ziti instead of the long lasagne sheets) and both were excellent!

i lovedddddddddd the spaghetti and meatballs!! can't wait for november to have this again!!
