VGF1 or VGF2 if both were available

Resort studios for the real bed and proximity to the amenities of the resort. When we stay in a studio we rarely use the microwave anyway.

Except its no further to the pool at the DVC Tower (closer even I think) since the pool closest to the new building is basically a quite pool if I am not mistaken. Boat is closer but the POLY stop is the 2nd stop on the route so I would walk there instead (might actually beat the person going to the GF boat stop from the new tower to MK) and Capt Cooks > Gasparilla. Additionally its closer to walk to the TTC to get to Epcot.

I will say though for the HS or AK bus the new tower is nicer but that is far and few between walking trips during the week.

Also I doubt they have the nice atrium in the new tower like the original DVC building.

I would shy away from resort amenities being a deciding factor IMO and focus on the room itself.

Yes, it's an actual mattress and I think the same that the 2 beds are not that much of a distinction anymore. 5-10 years ago? Absolutely. Actually I'd say the 2 real queen beds are less as they have to be down for everyone no matter if you are a single in the room or a group of 5. Still think a King bed plus a double or queen murphy sofa would have been the winner.

Maybe we can hope the new PL tower will have them!

I like the OG VGF studios, if I'm staying in a studio - the laundry is convenient and not too busy, and my kids prefer the pool that's closer to VGF1 anyway. That said, I could see us trying the resort studios once just for a change of location and pace.

I now have two bookings for the resort studios. One for one room, one for two connecting rooms. I'm thrilled with the new building. It can't be louder than Poly.

I have a gfv1 lake deluxe studio in sept booked on akl points I plan to swap out for a standard resort as soon as online bookings open

Cool then we won't have to fight over the studios. You can stay in the original tower and we'll stay in the new one. lol Win/win
