VGF views ?

Came back from my winter vacation 3 weeks ago and I want to plan the other
We booked 1 bedroom lake view this time around loveddddddd it whats not to love right ?
Can you tell me in standard view whats your view ? I guess nit a parking right ?
Any deception if you booked standard views ?
I am thinking if the view is good why not save a few points ?? It will be a one bedroom

Just returned from a 1 week stay in a standard view two BR. Our view was of the waterfall in front, covered walkway, monorail and could see the corner of the Beach Pool. No view of the parking lot. We had no issues at all with our view. will definetely stay again in a SV.

It general terms a standard view is less points than a lake view for a reason. You may get lucky with a standard view but you can also get a roof or wall view.

A lake view is an un-obstructed view of the lake.

I had a standard view. From right to left, I saw the Port Cochere, Monorail, Wedding Pavilion, Polynesian, lake, the Contemporary. Sitting on my balcony, I could face the lake and the Contemporary.
Technically, standing at the door to the balcony, I could see the Port, Monorail, Spa, Poly.
I'm putting this link, hope it works, of a panorama from my balcony. I could also, as I said, see more to the right that's not in the picture--Port Cochere, etc. Bottom line; I was VERY pleased with the view! I had an "Island View" room at Aulani that was of the multi level garage of the hotel next door.
