VGF -> Vero Beach pool hopping?

Hey folks, sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I know pool hopping threads come up all the time, but this is one that everything I read seems to contradict what I have read before!

I've read the pool hopping section of the DVC site which clearly lists VB as one of the applicable WDW/Orlando area resorts. If I were staying at VB, I imagine I could pool hop to one of the applicable WDW resort pools, and if I were staying at WDW the opposite is true and I can pool hop to VB? I've also tried searching various forums and websites and some say yes that's exactly what it means, others say that VB won't allow pool access. Very confused! I'm staying at VGF in November and would love to check out VB one day, including their pool facilities.

My plan was for a day trip out to VB, relaxing at the resort for a while and then watch the Disney Dream depart PC on the way back to Orlando.

I was able to get an answer by using the on line chat feature. The answer is yes, you can pool hop. He said you should go to the front desk to see if the pool is at capacity. Could you imagine driving all the way over there and being turned away because of a full pool? Bummer!

I e-mailed once and had the same reply. It wasn't clear if we could access the beach.

You should be able to use the beach access and the beaches are all public.

You'll have to stop by the front desk and get a key card for beach access to/from the pool area.
