VGF to Epcot now?

Without the monorail running, how do you get from the VGF to Epcot? I assume it would be by bus, but is the best dedicated to the GF or is it shared? And if shared, does anyone know what the order of the bus stops is? And my last question-I'm planning a July stay-any chance that the Epcot monorail will be running by then, and there won't be a bus to deal with?

Correct, you can only get there by bus right now. Or you can Uber, Lyft, or drive there yourself.
The busses are shared with the Polynesian. Poly is the first stop, followed by GF. Under normal circumstances and pre-Covid, the buses are usually full by the time they get to GF and are standing room only. But with only the DVC side of Poly open now, I'm not sure how full the busses are. Hopefully someone can answer this who has experienced this recently.
Disney hasn't released any information on when the Epcot monorail line will re-open, so plan on it not being available for your trip.

I was in Epcot a couple of days ago and I saw an empty monorail moving on the tracks. I had heard that the monorails from Epcot have been needed just for the MK and resorts do to one party per door. Now they are testing blocking off sections inside so more than one party per door. If all goes well I would hope they can start traveling again to Epcot.

While Poly and GF normally share buses, they have not since reopening. Poly and GF currently each have their own buses.

I see a lot of people complain about the lack of Epcot monorail, but from our perspective, the bus to/from GF and Epcot has worked very well. In some ways better/more convenient than having to do the monorail transfer routine.

IMO I don’t think the Epcot monorail will return until monorail capacity increases and Disney is ready to stop bus service from the monorail resorts (I doubt they want to run both for too long if they don’t have to).

Since I'll have an ECV, plus I'll be solo, Uber, Lyft, or driving myself, are all out of the question. Fortunately it's a split stay, and since VGF currently doesn't sound very "Epcot-friendly", I think I'd better plan on going to Epcot during the other part of my stay (Kidani), not from VGF. At least at Kidani, it's the first bus stop. Or best would be if the Epcot monorail starts up again.

There are also accessible taxis that can accommodate an ECV.
