We prefer higher floor, facing the Monorail and not the pool/fountain. Occasionally guests using the walkway are really loud at randomly late hours. But be prepared to "get what you get" and not get any part of your request. When we were there in May, there were only 2 studios that were available the day we checked in; both were first floor (which I absolutely hate) and on the pool/fountain side. My husband liked being able to leave via the stairwell exit near the pool, but that is probably the best thing that can be said about our room assignment (requested highest floor/monorail side, specifically the corners closest to the wedding pavilion).
