I'm assuming you're meaning the 2nd of November?
That weekend - November 1-4 is the RunDisney Wine and Dine 5K/10K/Half Marathon. The weekend has been pretty much sold out (especially the 3rd) for months. There are a smattering of 1 bedrooms around (SSR & Kidani).
Since we're right at the 7th month mark now, there has been a lot of activity and rooms are moving in and out of inventory a lot.
I got a late start myself for that week, wanting to go from 10/27 through the 11/5. We're Poly owners. Two weeks ago I was able to book only two nights in a Standard view - Monday and Tuesday. I waitlisted Sat & Sun as separate waitlists. This past Monday, the waitlist for Sun had disappeared from my dashboard. At the same time, Wednesday night appeared on the RAT. I booked Wed and called MS to confirm Sun. They did and combined the 3 reservations I now had into a single 4 night stay. After getting off the phone, I went back into my account to waitlist Thurs. While there, I noticed that my waitlist for Sat was now absent from the dashboard. Called MS again - sure enough, that waitlist had come through in the 15 minutes since I'd last spoken to MS. They booked it and combined it. 5 nights now. I set up another waitlist for Friday night (the 2nd). 30 minutes later I went back to my account to check on something unrelated to the trip and noticed that the Thursday waitlist was now gone from the dashboard. MS confirmed that night as well and combined things again. 3 one-day waitlists filled separately within 2 hours. Friday filled the next morning. I now have a 7 night reservation with the 3rd and 4th (Saturday/Sunday) waitlisted. I don't really expect the other two nights to come through so I've been monitoring the RAT for everywhere else. Availability has been moving around for the weekend, but basically just within expected resorts - SSR, OKW and Kidani.
Granted, not seeing a night show up on the RAT doesn't mean waitlists aren't filling for that night. But given the races that weekend, you'll want to plan for your waitlist not filling.
