VGF Questions

Two questions re the VGF - Long time DVC owners, have stayed often at the GF hotel but first time at VGF for Christmas!!!! We have a studio and I know people have said there are storage issues. Is there room under the beds to store luggage? I thought I remembered from the tour of the model that the beds were raised to allow that.

Also, is there a laundry room in the Villas for those of us with studios or do we have to trek over to one of the hotel buildings?

Yes, there is storage space for luggage underneath the bed. There is a sliding panel on the right side at the foot of the bed; just slide it out of the way and you can use that space.

There are two drawers underneath the bed for storage, but only one is actually usable. The other drawer only opens a few inches, but it was enough to let us move the phone book and Bible from the nightstand drawer to the second drawer, thus freeing up the nightstand drawer for storage. This photo shows the two drawers:

By the way, the nightstand has a built-in USB plug and two power outlets. I didn't notice them until the morning we were checking out.

The VGF laundry room is located on the fourth floor adjacent to villa #1412, right off the elevator alcove.
