My husband and I are going to be staying at VGF in a Deluxe Studio with a Lake View. Which rooms are better than others and which floor is great for viewing the lake?

We have never stayed here before, so I am not sure what rooms are better than others.

I would request upper floor. Lower floors are more of a view of the walkway.

At VGF a lake view is a lake view, IMO all equal. Higher floor is nicer, VGF is a very small resort.

Check this link, scroll down a few to see photos of the views.

Thank you for the responses! I put our 1st request as an upper floor. Where are the elevators located in the building? I'm pregnant so I would like to be near an elevator but not right next to one. Do any of you know if the studios are right next to the elevator?

Disneynuts wasn't joking; it's a very small resort. You'd never be more than 6 rooms away from the elevator.

3 minute walk to the elevator from the farthest room. Being that we walk about 6 miles per day at WDW, how are you going to do once you leave the resort?

To me, the best lake views are the studios ending with 04 & 10. Those are our favourites and we request them every visit. xx14 faces the lake but not quite as directly as 04 & 10. (pretty decent fireworks view however)

FYI - here is what the lakeview from a 1st floor studio looks like - just fine IMO.

I am not pregnant, but I have a back issue, and if the OP is anything like me, you try to save your walking for when you get out of the resort, not wear yourself out while you are at the resort. I understand totally where she is coming from
