VGF 2BR Availability at 7 months?

I am thinking ahead to our 10th anniversary trip in a year and wondering what availability is like at 7 months out for a 2BR villa at VGF in August (we will be taking our 3 daughters, that's why we want a bigger place!).

I see posts about how people have difficulty getting VGF studios even at 11 months, so I'm wondering if the same is true for the 2BRs. (We want to stay for a week.)

The 2 bedroom lock-offs may be gone to studios but there may be some dedicated 2 bedrooms left.

We've booked a dedicated 2BR in March and June at 7 months with no problem. I think August will be even easier to book one.

That's fantastic news. I think we would want a dedicated 2BR anyways (the second bedroom has 2 queen beds, is that right?), so that would work out perfectly.

I'm so looking forward to this trip!! We honeymooned at the Grand Floridian and it'll be so fun to go back with the kids 10 years later and reflect on how much life has changed since we got married!

Last year I booked 8 nights the end of August in a dedicated standard view two bedroom and booked again for a week this September.

Good luck! I loved the standard view we had. It was overlooking thr monorail, little waterfall and to the right the lake and pool. I loved watching the monorail pass by every day! It was magical!

VGF's 2BR pattern has been that 2BR lockoffs have a high chance of being gone most of the year because all the studios are part of those lock-offs and those studios usually go before 7 months out. The 2BR dedicateds (called just "Two Bedroom" in the online reservation system) are almost invariably open at 7 months out for times between mid-Jan and late Sep, and are even open some of the times during the last quarter of the year, DVC's high demand season, but often have issues for the very high demand times during that period.
