VGF 2 booking - not available still?

Final result: 45 minutes on hold, 20 minutes to create the reservation. I had two existing 1 day reservations that I was replacing with a new 4 day reservation, not sure if that made it take longer.

Just booked 5 night VGF2 Resort Studio ressie via 1 hour phone call.
However, upon checking the ressie in the Dashboard I'm seeing "undefined - 93 Vacation Points" in place of the anticipated "Resort Studio - Standard View - 93 Vacation Points".
Anyone else showing the booked room as "undefined"? TIA

Mine says the same on my dashboard. However, my email confirmation has the correct room information. I suspect this is because while we can book with points, the resort is not open yet.

Me, too. Points are correct, so not worried about it. Best guess is that it will show correctly once online booking is available.

Mine shows as undefined as well on the dashboard but MDE shows "resort studio - lagoon view" when I click on reservation detail so there is that!

Okay! I got my July night changed. I also realized today there is a plus to me securing the two connecting studios instead of the 1 bedrooms when I am not sure if it will be group trip.

I booked two for February and if it ends up the solo trip I can cancel one. I always switch to RIV after VGF and since that will be a 1 bedroom this might work for when I do just that one night!

Called at 9am and got busy signal twice. Called again around 9:15 and got through but was then disconnected as they were experiencing “heavy call volumes”. Go figure!

Stuck in meeting all morning and finally got a chance to call in again at 4:12pm. Forty minute wait, but was able to modify my VGF DS to two nights instead of 3 and add 2 nights at VGF RS. Had to borrow 17 points, but 1st half of November trip is set.

DH likes the resort studio and I think I’ll like the deluxe studio better. Perfect opportunity to compare them back to back as we have never stayed at Grabs Floridian. Then back to the RIV in a 1BR, unless we can grab a 1BR at BWV.

So, not as bad a hold time as I thought it would be. And had an awesome CM too!

I got what I wanted as well - first weekend they’re open!

Booking went fine for me yesterday at about noon. Booked for after DIScon to try out the room. Although, I am still a bit salty that we don't have a microwave in the room. It's an industry standard basic amenity for higher tier lodging, even some mid-tier lodging. I booked standard view and there was open availability for all three views (week of Oct 3).

Although I greatly dislike not having a microwave, top tier hotel rooms typically do not have microwaves.

Pretty much all timeshares do.

Since VGF2 is a timeshare, I’d argue it should have a microwave.

We toured the VGF2 showroom when we stayed at BCV last week. It certainly has the space for a microwave where they instead decided to place a table and mirror.

I’ve already booked our next 2 VGF stays. Both are at VGF1 exactly because of the lack of microwave.

I thought about calling to swap one of those stays with VGF2 but just couldn’t do it. The lack of microwave and inferior bathroom arrangement have convinced me that VGF1 will always be a better fit for us.

I was able to change my December Lake View reservation yesterday to a Resort Studio. I had multiple 30 minute waits before I got through. The calls kept dropping because I was at Epcot.

That's odd. Were you using wi-fi? If not, coverage must be very bad for your carrier. Glad you were able to get what you wanted.

AFAIK, there haven't been any reports of anyone not getting a resort studio (or the view) they wanted. Hope that continues, at least until 5/13.
