VGC question about check-in

Hi - I'm heading to VGC for our first trip in about a week. :goodvibes

My question - when I arrive (by rental car) at VGC, it'll be very late (to us, it will feel like about 10 pm). My two boys (aged 5 and 8) will likely be cranky and tired. So I'm trying to "feel out" the check in process and minimize any hassle or issues.

(1) do you have any particular advice for me to make this as quick and painless as possible?

(2) does VGC have a different or separate check-in location than GCH? Or do I go to the same location?

Thanks!

That time of night there will not be a line. I've stayed in the hotel twice and never saw a long line, they have a large front desk.

The villas share the front desk with the hotel.

We went last August and can not wait to go again. It is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. You will have an amazing trip.

I don't know how late it is running, but near the check in they have little rockers and a television set that is usually playing Disney movies. You could park the boys there with one of you to watch them while the other checks in. Self parking is across the street so after you unload with Bell Services you will either need to move your car to self parking or let the Valets take it at $17 per day.

If the boys are really tired they could probably sink into one of the comfy lobby chairs and sleep until you were all checked in, parked and ready to go to the Villa. The Villas are very close to the lobby, so once you have your keys it's a short walk to wherever you are staying.

This is great - I haven't been there yet, so I didn't know about the chairs and TV. Also - the note about moving the car was really helpful as well. I think I'll have my partner park the car while I go check in.

Thanks!

good luck! the hotel is very "family" friendly at least to my partner and I. I hope you have a magical time!
