Vgc parking on checkout day

On the day we checkout of the villas at grand Californian we intend to have a park day. Can we leave our car parked in hotel parking for free while in the park or will we need to pay for that day?

You should be able to park until midnight of the day you check out.

We just did this last Tuesday. Checked out in the morning, hit the parks until late afternoon and drove out (key card from the room opens the gates) with no problems.
