VGC adding rooms

I read that Grand Californian is adding more rooms to their inventory. Does this mean that they are converting hotel rooms into villas or adding hotel rooms to the Disney Collection like the Disneyland Resort and Paradise Pier?

Are you referring to the blurb in the recent Disney Files mag about Disney allowing DVC members to book GC hotel rooms on points again?

I received the Disney Files today. It sounded like hotel rooms would be available through The Disney Collection. They have not released points charts but expect them to be outrageous, higher than The Disneyland Hotel.
