Veterans Day Crowds

Planning a trip to WDW for next November and just realized our dates 11/8-12 fall during Veterans Day. Are the parks typically crowded for the holiday? Is Jersey Week the week before?

Jersey Week would be the week where the 4th/5th fall next year so the week prior. Jersey Week I would expect to be busier than Veterans day.

The week you are going or the week after is going to be the least busy I would expect of the month but I am just guessing never went in November myself just read about it.

Many Virginia schools have these days off as well. Before DD got into sports, we used to always travel this week, either to WDW or somewhere else.

My adult DD and I were just in WDW from 11/5-11/11 so right in between the two weeks. It wasn't too busy at all IMO (but not slow like the summer was). Weekends are always busier. We avoided the parks on Saturday and scheduled DHS for Sunday since that one fills up any day of the week, so we wanted to take advantage of lower crowds at AK and MK during the weekdays (skipped Epcot this trip).

Veterans Day doesn't cause much of a blip in attendance.

I'm just wondering if it will be more crowded next year due to the fact that it falls on a Thursday. If people are off, they may decide to also take Friday off for a long weekend?

It will also depend what will Disney do for the 50th anniversary and when thre celebration will actually start
