Veteran's Day 2008

I'm starting to panic b/c this is when we've planned our trip. Our school has Mon and Tues off, so we're taking advantage. We'll only have to pull the girls out for 3 days of school so that we can be in DL the whole week. But I'm reading more and more about how busy VD is...will it die down after that Tues, or will it be crowded the whole week do you think?

We went last year for veterens day weekend and it was fine. I got nervous from reading all the posts about how crazy it would be also. Just get there early and get fast passes then take breaks in the afternoon when it gets busy. You'll be fine.

We will probably be going around this time, too, just because this is the easiest time for dh to go as he will finally be back from the land of the sand and we will all need a vacation together. I find that crowds where every we decide to go that weekend are usually pretty manageable. I think you will be fine! Enjoy yourselves!

Mindy...tell your dh "thanks" for playing in the sandbox. My dh served and we still have lots of friends who are active duty. Maybe if we sent Mickey to the sandbox things would get better.
