It will be DH (would rather relax than walk around the parks), Me (will probably enjoy the first few hours at each and then not worried whether we stay or head back to the resort), DD (9 - will enjoy only the "big kid" rides and maybe some of the live shows), & DS (6 - will enjoy all of the rides and some of the shows). I just can't see us spending an entire EMH day at the Animal Kingdom - it doesn't look that big!

We plan on going to the parks in this order:
Day 2 MGM
Day 3 Epcot
Day 4 AK
Day 5 MK
Day 6 DTD & MK only for MNSSHP
Day 7 Epcot F&WF
Day 8 Home :(

Day 2-5 are EMH. Basically, ust wondering if you thought we could get it all in by going during the AM, heading back to the resort for a few hours, and then finishing up in the evening - also wanted your thoughts because this is our first time and I am an overplanner :)

Thank you so much for your valuable help - I don't know what I'd do without the DIS!

Disney World is a HUGE place and you are right to do some serious planning before you arrive. The last thing you want to do waste time in a place where the operative word "World". Looks like you have enough days to hit the all the highlights...

If you do not own a copy "the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disny World 2006", run (don't walk) to your nearest Borders or Barnes & Nobel bookstore and pick one up ($15). It's the "bible" for people like us (overplanners that is). More than worth its weight in gold AND you can carry it with you where the web can't go. Pays for itself in about 30 seconds. In that vein, the companion web site, TouringPlans, has more diverse touring plans than the book does (two-day, adult, early or late arrival, etc.). Again worth every penny (about $7). I cannot stress strongly enough how effective these touring plans can be (read their web site). They contain all the validated and verified experience of real people following these plans: all the right "tricks and tips" you could possibly learn through years of touring WDW are built in. :thumbsup2 PRICELESS!

The Unofficial Guide is good. Tourguidemike is better. I would sign up for his service (link at the top of the page on this board).

Then read his advice on EMH's and Fastpass use. He will have you rethinking those EMH's.
