I have done a ton of research and after our last cash trip we are done “donating” to Disney. We went on the tour and it’s frustrating sitting there saying no I think that is the wrong information and the guide is saying nope that’s correct. Some ppl don’t know about the disboards .

We was pushing me to get a December UY, I said I don’t want December I will be traveling in the summer. I rather have a UY when I need my points. He told me UY are not that important?? Really not sure I agree with that statement either.

Dec UY does work for summer travel, but getting June UY is a much better one as it gives you a better chance to reuse points in case of a cancel or change,

I started with June because of my school schedule and knew that summer, or our February break would be the most likely times of travel.

Once I started wanting to travel in May, I did decide to add on more points with a Dec UY to cover those trips.

If BCV is your first choice, then go with that and definitely go resale if you are not going yearly. While the restrictions will leave you out of Rivera and future resorts, you could always add on points later on there if you get to a point that you are missing those options!

Our Family loved BCV and the area, we would wouldn’t mind BWV. BCV would be our first choice. my only issue is that the price of BCV resale and BLT is about the same and I would get a few more years out of the contract so that has me thinking what to do. We do not RIV at all so it’s not an issue at all. I’m stuck on what UY would be the best if we travel in the summer mostly and would have to bank points from one year to use the next year. I’m thinking June.... but not sure.

June UY is ideal for summer travel since if you had to change or cancel, you’d still have time to use up ant borrowed points or bank points.
