Hello,
I have sent out some personal invites for this. But I'm so afraid I'm going to hurt someone feelings because of my rotten memory. So I thought I'd post this for anyone else I may have forgotten who'd like to be a part of this.

Thanks and blessings,
Winnie

Dear friends,

The week of the November pin cruise, Fred will have 20 years of Military service. His anniversary date is November 14, 1983. He is a veteran of Dessert Storm and his squadron is currently assisting our troops over seas for Operation Enduring Freedom. He serves in VR58 Fleet Logistics Support Squadron at NAS Jacksonville, Fla.

With 20 years he could retire, but he has decided to stay and take the Chief Petty Officers test in January. If he passes, he will serve another 3, and then retire with 24 years of service.

To commemorate this time, I have made arrangements for Fred to be "Veteran of the Day', on thursday November 20th, the day we return from the cruise. I wanted to arrange it so many of you could come and be a part of this special time with us. Fred will be in full service dress uniform.

It would mean alot to us if you would honor us with being there. Please let us know if you can be there. the ceremoney takes place at 5PM in Town Square at MK.

Sincerest thanks,
Winnie and Fred Crockrell

Dear Winnie,

I wish I could be there for the ceramony. But my vacation to WDW is the month before. I'm sure everything will go well. Congrats and good luck to Fred. It's people like him who we have to thank for the security and safety of this great nation. So, THANK YOU FRED!

Winnie and Fred,
Thank you so much for your invitation to the Veteran of the Day ceremony. Unfortunately, Tim and I have flights mid day on Thursday so we will not be able to attend.

Fred, congratulations on your 20 year anniversary, and thank you for giving so much of yourself in helping to defend our great country. We are lucky indeed to have people like you serving in the military.

See you on the ship!

Winnie, I wish we could be there for that. But please be sure to take plenty of pictures for those of us who can't.

Fred, from the son of a 30 year Army veteran of two wars, thank you for your service.
