I've been spending all my time downstairs in my scrapbook/craft room working on my painting projects so I haven't been watching the news the past few days.. Came up awhile ago, turned on the tv (could hear the wind howling like crazy outside - along with some very large gusts) and they were talking about how frigid cold it is - and how it's going to be even worse tomorrow.. (Well below zero wind chill factors..)
Also heard that we are on the "western fringe" of a major storm off the coast of New England and aside from the off and on snow we had today, we could get anywhere from 3" to 8" of snow by tomorrow afternoon/evening..
Huh?? Guess that's what happens when you're not paying attention - LOL..
My family is still gone away and with the wind howling like it is, I'm walking around with a flashlight in my pocket in case the power goes out..
What's happening in your neck of the woods? And if you're closer to the coast, what are they telling you to expect for tomorrow?

My poor dog, she LOVES to go outside when it snows. She was all gung-ho about going outside when we finally struggled home today, and she bolted out... then right back in again! It's snowing sideways here; the plow came for the driveway about 3 hours ago and it looks like it never came. The wind is whipping the snow so hard that it stings, and I'm kinda surprised I still have power...

But, that means it's only 9 degrees F. Still coooold.
. Oil lamps are ready and flash light on bed stand if needed. Everyone bundle up and pls. stay safe!
