The little seven year old girl I posted about a few weeks back,Erin who needed a heart transplant sadly has lost her fight:( I wanted to thank everyone for the prayers and pixie dust you all sent her way! Please continue for her parents they are devastated to say the least and need all the help they can get:(

So sorry to see this. Prayers on the way for the family and her friends!

I saw this story in the Asbury Park Press. It is just so sad and unfair. My heart breaks for this family as I sit here questioning why things like this have to happen to a little child.

I didn't see your original thread
but so sorry to hear of this

I just hate when a kid dies , will pray for her family

I recall little Erin had such a tough time in so short a time period. So very sad, Banshee. Thanks for sharing with us, my prayers are with her family, God speed to little angel Erin.

Thoughts and prayers for her and her family.

Steve

I can think of no greater loss than the loss of a child. My prayers for Erin and her family.

I didn't see your original post, but wanted to say how sorry I was. The loss of life of a child is devasting, I can't even imagine the grief the family is feeling right now. I will say a prayer for them.

Thoughts and prayers for Erin and her family.

:( Im so sorry to hear that . :(

May God Bless her family!

This is a poem I sent to my friend who lost both her children and her dad in a train/car wreck this past Thanksgiving. It always makes me cry but it also always brings comfort.

God's Lent Child
I'll lend you for a little while a child of mine, God said,
For you to love her while she lives, and mourn for when she's dead.
It may be six or seven years,
or forty-two or three;
But will you, till I call her back, take good care of her for me?

She'll bring her charms to gladden you, and should her stay be brief,
You'll have the lovely memories as a solace for your grief.
I cannot promise she will stay, since all from earth return;
But there are lessons taught below I want this child to learn.

I've searched the whole world over, for teachers kind and true;
And from the throngs that crowd life's lane I have chosen you...
Now will you give her all your love? Nor think the labor pain?
Nor hate me should the angels call, to take this child back again?

To which the parents did reply...
Dear Lord, Thy will be done.
For all the joys thy child will bring, the risk of grief we'll run.
We'll shelter her with tenderness,
We'll love her while we may...
for all the love this child will bring,
forever grateful we will stay.
But should the Angels call for her,
much sooner than we've planned,
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes,
and try to understand.

I am so saddened to hear this...prayers going out to Erin and her family...
