Hey guys,

I'm subscribed to a scrapbooking magazine called "Scrapbook Inspirations" over here that I get every month. The issue that came out October 19th still hadn't arrived on Friday so I called up the company to report the issue as missing. The guy on the phone was really nice, he checked the system and said there's no reason why it shouldn't have come (I was fully paid up and no problems) it must have just got lost in the mail so he said he'd make sure another one was sent out that day.

Whilst I was on the phone I decided to take my chances on something else, never thinking anything would come of it. When I originally subscribed back in July, I was meant to get a guillotine as a free subscription gift but it never came. I mentioned this to my guy and he looked it up on the system. Turned out there's been a problem with the website when I subscribed and I hadn't been put onto the free gift mailout list. He said he couldn't get me the guillotine as they'd changed the gift since then BUT I could have the new subscription gift instead. So I'm due to be getting a free K & Co 8x8 album in the mail with coordinated embellishments! It's so cute too, a much better gift than the little guillotine!

So it just goes to show ladies, always ask!!

Cool for you....what on earth would you do with a guillotine? Love the album idea and very happy for you!!! Too cool! And yes always ask, what can they say but no...:)

Goofymom/pop - I think we call it a trimmer.

Queenie - That's terrific! And I agree - it's a much better gift! :teeth:

I am loving these conversations between Queenie & Cindy!! Cindy, I had the same thought/question until I read Piratesmate's response. Makes sense that it is a trimmer. We'll see what Queenie says!

Queenine, congratulations on the K&C album. I like their product although I've never used an album from them.

I was wondering the same thing. :rotfl:

I just a**umed it was something else I needed to spend money on!

I was just concerned that maybe our spouses had finally found a way to get rid of all of us....or at least the part of us we use to scrapbook with.

Of course a trimmer does make sense..... :rotfl:
