Very Talkative Universal Employee

Today while waiting in line for the Starbucks near Diagon Alley, we started talking to a very nice employee- we think he worked in an office somewhere in the park. He told us a bunch of information- and I thought I'd share it with everyone!

He said the new King Kong ride is going to be very exciting and "not what everyone thinks it's going to be". He wasn't allowed to elaborate on this. We walked past the construction later on, and it is incredible looking.

He told us about the upcoming demise and demolition of Wet n Wild, and how people are getting upset- but they'll be amazed with the replacement. The name has escaped me- but the plans for the new water park that has been released is going on the property of Wet n Wild when it is removed.

Kong is very impressive. I like the big Kong head that will be the entrance to the ride. It's all framed in rebar so far.

The waterpark is Volcano Bay and it is currently being built right beside Cabana Bay (not to be confused with the new hotel, Sapphire Falls which is also being built beside Cabana Bay but also beside Royal Pacific). There have been no reports of what will be built where Wet 'n Wild is other than a few rumours of more hotels.

The only true mystery is what will go in Wet n Wild's site,Volcano Bay will be a cool but compact waterpark next to Cabana Bay,Skull Island reign of Kong will be a truck ride with great theming,animatronic figures and projection screens.Then you have all the rumors over at Universal,Fast and Furious taking over San Francisco,new attraction next to MIB,Nintendo taking over the Kidzone and the Soarin style ride with Jimmy Fallon.

I believe it's a moderate resort with no express pass.

It will not have the Unlimited Express Pass from what I hear. I think Universal is also going to re-do how they classify their resorts
