We check in at the Contemporary Thursday around noon on March 17. We have two kids, ages 2 and 4. We will have afternoon breaks each day at least for a short time.
Thurs.--Head to MK shortly after checkin unless little one is napping. Hopefully they will have some fireworks at MK this night.
Fri--EMH at MK, break, monorail to Epcot.
Sat.--Crystal Palace PS at MK before park opens, ride a few rides and then monorail to Epcot for lunch in World Showcase. If kids aren't ready to nap, we may boat over to MGM for a couple of shows--Beauty and Beast/Disney Playhouse. Late afternoon break. DH may take older son to MK while younger son naps. Return to the Contemp, babysitter will be arriving at 7 p.m. so DH and I can go to Elton John concert.
Sunday--Check out of Contemporary and into POR; go to AK, afternoon break, and then MGM for evening EMH. Perhaps some Boardwalk activities
Mon.--I'm not sure if we want to do Epcot EMH for a few hours, or just go straight to MK. In the early afternoon we will return to POR for the rest of the day--nap, pool, fishing. Take boat to DTD that evening.
Tues.--Check out first thing in the a.m., go to EMH at MGM, take boat over to Epcot to do World Showcase. (Younger son will have to nap in stroller or in a quiet spot since we already checked out of our room.) Take bus back to POR to meet towncar at 4 p.m. to take to airport.
I am basing this on the following NEW Extra Magic Hour schedule:
Sunday - Disney-MGM Studios (evening)
Monday - Epcot (morning)
Tuesday - Disney-MGM Studios (morning); Disney's Animal Kingdom (evening)
Wednesday - Magic Kingdom (evening)
Thursday - Epcot (evening)
Friday - Magic Kingdom (morning)
Saturday - Disney's Animal Kingdom (morning)
As I said, this is a very rough draft. A lot will depend on how late the parks are open WITHOUT the evening EMH. We are spending a LOT of time at MK and Epcot on the first few days while we are at the Contemporary. We tend to take breaks when our kids need them, so it's all a work in progress.
