Very nice compliment for me tonight!

I was renting a video at Hollywood and I handed the teenage clerk my Visa card. She looked at it and said " wow this looks nothing like you!" I explained to her that the picture was from an old account and they dug it up and put on my card when I opened this account. I said " So 10 years and 3 kids later, good or bad, this is what you get" she smiled and said " Well I think you look WAY better now! I like your hair better now too."

I cant tell you how good that made me feel! It made my night thats for sure!

so remember what those litte complimets can do for someone!

They really do. I am only 26, but sometimes when I buy cigarettes (for DH), they don't ask for my ID, and I get really sad, like, now I must be looking old. When they do ask, I feel happy!

I love it when people seem shocked when I tell them I am 32. I have had several people tell me they thought I was only 25! Makes my day whether its true or not.

I'm probably the worst person in the world to compliment, I don't know how to take a compliment. It's one good way to get me to shut up though. It embarrasses me to death to get carded for anything too.

I don't know how old you are, but any year while in my thirties was great. I think I know from reading your threads you have 3 kids, so that means you are one busy lady!! Glad a stranger made your day, that is cool

And I don't mean like when I went to an Oakland A's game a few years ago, and they were carding guys in their 80,s!

This could be tough to beat. At the Outpost at EPCOT, on 11-09-02, I was carded when trying to buy a beer.
After marraige, and child, and maybe college graduation, and a couple other things, this is probably in the top ten best days of my life!

He carded someone who was 43 years, 16 days old!!! I did have a hat on and it was a little dark, but it still counts!

Maybe PD is the the secret to life!

I was carded last week DisneeDad, isnt it great?

I dont think I look too terrirbly young ( and I dont neccesarily think I look that great either but oh well ) but I do get carded on a semi-regular basis.
