Very new to Disney Dining Plans...Help!

I have a few questions before adding meal plan to MYW tix.

Do you get the same menu as paying customers? Is it restricted in anyway?

What do they consider an appetizer at counter service places?

The dining plan can be booked as part of the MYW + dining package (room, tickets (at least 1 day base MYW ticket for each person in room), plus dining. You get 1 counter service, 1 table service and 1 snack per person per night stayed.

The menu is the same; some participating Downtown Disney restaurants add a surcharge for some menu items. You just tell your server before ordering that you're on the dining plan. I would ask about any menu restrictions at that time...

Counter service meals do not come with an appetizer. That's only with table service meals.
