Very Merrytime

Boarding the Fantasy in three weeks and booking our next cruise while on board...leaning heavily towards booking the Dec. 5, 2018 very merrytime cruise on the Magic out of Miami. It stops at Key West, Nassau and CC.

Has anyone every done this cruise? So torn between doing a Halloween themed cruise and a Christmas one...if you've done a very merrytime cruise what did you think? Our son will be 7 at the time.

What's everyone's favorite thing to do in Key West?

Thanks for any advice! Just want to make sure we're making the right decision!

The Very Merrytime cruise was by far our favorite Disney cruise. There are so many Christmas themed activities from ornament making to the Christmas show in the atrium with Santa & Mrs. Claus and the characters dressed in their Christmas finest. The ship is decorated including a huge gingerbread house. Be sure to sign up for gingerbread house making as soon as you board. There are very limited spots! We're going again this year and can't wait!

We love going to see the polydactyl cats at Hemingway's House in Key West!! Also, key lime pie, chocolate covered, on a stick is not to be missed!

I did that itinerary and will be doing it again this year. It's definitely one of our favorite itineraries. It's such a perfect time before Christmas that really gets you excited for the holiday and the ship is so beautifully decorated. They also have a lot of fun holiday activities for the kids!

In Key West, we also loved the cats at Hemingway's House. We also loved the Butterfly and Nature Conservatory and the Aquarium.

Just like it was mentioned above...the MerryTime cruises always go pretty fast. We booked our December 2017 cruise in very early January 2017 and there were only a "few" (probably 40 or so) staterooms left.
