I was planning on getting tickets for our group of 8. I just looked at the prices...is it REALLY worth almost 700.00?? Am I missing something? Besides the hot chocolate and the snow down main street, what else would I be missing?

And if it's not worth the money, what can we do as a group that would be memorable? Its 5 adults and 3 kids.

Thanks for any input

This is not the answer you're looking for, but only YOU can determine if it's worth $700.

What you'll get you get almost no other time of the year:

Pre-season viewing of the Christmas Parade characters
Special fireworks ahead of the public viewings
"Free" hot chocolate and cookies
Unique groupings of characters at character meet-n-greets
Somewhat lower crowd levels than day guest levels
Access to unique MVMCP merchandise in the shops

But over the past few years many regular attendees have reported:

Higher ticket sales with larger crowds
The disappearance of early MVMCP perks (free family photo, souvenir button)
Stale cookies
Watered-down chocolate
Grumpy CMs (and not the one in the Seven Dwarves!)

So I'd advise to try it once and see if you like it. I hope you do. If you don't, you'll know better the next time.

If I am just buying a ticket for myself, which is what I do then yes it is worth it. But for an additional $700, um no! I don't know how much longer I'll be attending this party even though it is my favorite. The increase is just getting to be too much especially this year.

I Love MVMCP, but I would not spend $700 to go. Do a character meal that they love or play putt putt if you have never done that. Go to the Hoop DE Do dinner at Fort Wilderness. The MVMCP is fun but I would not get $700 worth of extra fun out of it, you could do all the things I suggested and still have $ left over. is it close to anyone's Bday, last trip, my DD was fixing to be 16, so we went to Chef Mickeys and I had ordered her a surprise BDay cake, made their at the Contemporary, and they delivered it to our table, she was so surprised. Mickey showed up right when the brought out the cake so we got some good pics of her and Mickey with her cake, it was great. But anyway just some suggestions.
