Very Merry D23 Holidaze Dec 2009 TR - 7 magical park days! updt 7/1

My husband lost his mom when he was 15 so I know just how hard anniversaries like this can be. and prayers!

Thank you. It is very much appreciated.

I went to the cemetary , left my card, cried my eyes out and now I feel much better. It's harder some years than others and it's always tough to be at my parent's grave; then look up 6 rows, see your grandparent's grave; look to the right and see my uncle's grave. I just wish they were here with me.

But life does goes on...and I'll be back to my normal regular self soon. I lost both my parents in February with my birthday smack dab in the middle of both anniversaries (I share a bday with my dad as well). I do want to break the space-time continuum and jump to March 1. I haven't quite found the formula for it.

I just bought a ticket to the 1st anniversary party at WDW!
 :faint:

Let's hope I can still book, find a flight and get time off work. :lmao:

I'm so excited for you (and us :rotfl:)! I hope this will make February a little easier for you! Which dinner did you book?

Michelle - I am kind of going back in to lurker status... I am back in school, working & being busy with Madi - but I am caught up on your TR, KTTK sounds amazing! Glad you had a fab time with Miranda! Can't wait to hear more!

*What is the 1 year anniversary?*
*Any updates on that Disney App for Verizon? I just updated to the Palm Pixi*

I'm a little sick and a little excited about it.

It's based on alot of February being icky and making myself happy with a bday prezzie to myself. As well as taking full advantage of D23.

I booked the early one at 4:30pm; I didnt' realize we had to choose right there & then, so I figured early one is good. :thumbsup2

Great on school! Good for you!!

I will update soon becase my lunch at CRT is next.

1st yr anniversary for D23 - Disney's club. There is a whole day at Magic Kingdom.

I haven't kept up with the Disney App for Verizon, once I found out that the EnV Touch was included! :cheer2: But I do update the thread here whenever there is something new.

Have you stopped your TR for now?

 I hope February goes quickly for you.

Congrats on getting the D23 ticket! It sounds like a cool party!

I envy you and your D23 special services :goodvibes I can not wait to hear about the Magic & Merriment trip to the castle suite - SUPER JEALOUS!!!

I think I may just post some pics and mini-reviews on my PTR, I can't really "devote time" to a report right now - I know that kinda sounds like a cop out, but I am already spreading myself thin!

So tell me what exactly is this 1 year celebration....anyways I am jealous AGAIN!!! This will now be 3 more trips I haven't onsince we both were there. LOL!

Hi all!

I'm sure you have figured out by now, how much I like photography.:goodvibes

I got up enough guts to enter one of my Disney photos in a contest. The contest have to be imaginative & creative, so I choose one of my "artistic"-ish shots.

So, please vote, if you would like. My photo is under "MyMuse18".

It will only take one vote per IP address, so jump to different computers! LOL!! ;)

The prize is a set of lithlographs that are most awesome. :thumbsup2

Thank you! :grouphug:

Thank you.

I think it just hit me harder since it was the 20th anniversary; I try not to dwell on that date but his birthday, which also happens to be mine. It's now officially official that I've spent more time without him than with him and it makes me sad. :sad1:

I will try to post many updates tonight and over the weekend. I'm not into football. :thumbsup2 plus we should be snowed in, I think.

Magic & Merriment was indeed very cool and I'm hoping the best for the 1st anniversary party.

Don't worry about your TR! Yourself and your family first! Just make sure you don't get locked out.

It's the first year for the D23 club, so they are celebrating at both Disney World and DisneyLand with parties. I am excited and totally didn't think I would get a ticket since ticketing for Magic & Merriment was horrid. But I did and now I have to get myself going on booking a trip!

I am extremely grateful that I am able to go again.

Last March was only 4 days at the park ('cause I didn't know how cool it was) and the May trip was super quick and you know how I felt about that trip.

I always go down to FL during December as that is when my timeshare week is. I can't believe how much I missed all these years!

I wasn't planning it for this March, but I have to admit between this year's vacation package deals & D23, it was very tempting to go back.

I'll post more about the D23 party in a fresh new post.

THANK YOU!!!

There is also one at DisneyLand, but not like this!

Join the D23 Team at the Walt Disney World Resort for a spectacular night of magic and memories!

After checking in at the Magic Kingdom, guests will have free time to enjoy the park's attractions and shows at their own pace. In the evening, attendees will enjoy one of two private dinners inside the Diamond Horseshoe Saloon, where piano music will fill the air and you'll take a look back at D23's first fun-filled year. Afterwards, Walt Disney Imagineering will present insider details about the recently announced Fantasyland Forest expansion project for the Magic Kingdom.

And to cap the night's celebration, guests will partake in a sumptuous dessert buffet in Fantasyland, where they will be able to enjoy a private party with fellow D23 Members, riding several of the park's signature attractions that recall the splendor and nostalgia of some of Walt Disney's most famous animated classics.
