very merry christmas party

We will be going to Disney the 2nd week in November. There are only 3 times the party is offered that week. Is it a good idea to wait till we get there to order the tickets or should we do it before? The reason I'm asking is because if the weather is bad I'd hate to pay all that money and then be miserable. Do they ever sell out, especially that early in the season?
