Very Merry Christmas Party Tickets?

I read online that you can only pick up your tickets for the party at the park, and they will not be delivered to hotels. Is there any exception to this? Does it make any difference if I call direct to purchase them instead of buying online? I just hate to have to stand in one more line if there's a way to get out of it. I could just pay the $3 to have them shipped to us, but want to make sure there isn't another option. Thanks!

I ordered my MVMCP tickets over the phone. They were shipped out within a week. At least I think they were. I have the actual hard ticket in my possession, they have EE from the HCOE. I paid the $3 for S/H, I just considered it part of the price.
Are you talking about the wristbands instead of the actual hard tickets? These you have to pick up in person at the park, I believe Guest Relations. If I remember correctly, you can start picking them up at 4pm/

You can buy them over the phone or online and either have them shipped to you for $3 or pick them up at Guest Services when you get to WDW OR you can wait to buy them till you are at WDW and buy them at Guest Services but they will not deliver them to your resort.

Last year I ordered my MVMCP tickets by phone and went to the Boardwalk to pick them up (I was staying at the Dolphin). It wasn't a matter of them being "delivered" to the resort, because the MVMCP tickets were printed on a regular Key to the World plastic card right at the resort desk while I waited. Are you saying resorts will NOT be able to issue the MVMCP tickets at all?

All I meant was they are not 'delivered' but you can get them at all Guest Services.

Ok this is my first trip so when you say guest services where are these located? Also are you able to pick them up at MK before the day you are going to MVMCP as we maybe in the park before the actual night we are going on

There are guests services at each park, DTD and at your resort.

Yes, you can buy them at MK before the day you are going to MVMCP (and that is what you should do if you want the advance purchase price).
