Hi! Here's the scoop on our ME experience, May 25-June 2nd:
May 25 - arrived at MCO at 1:10 p.m. Had a little trouble locating ME desk...no CM waiting at escalators to direct us, but no big deal.
Fairly long ME line, but TONS of CM's working. Waited about 3 minutes for service there. Got in the bus line and waited about 5-10 minutes. Watched a Disney overview movie on the trip to the resort, stopped at one other resort first, and got to POFQ by 2:16. Not bad at all!!! Luggage was in our room by 4:30.
June 2nd: Had a 6:00 a.m. flight - UGH! Last night we got a shuttle schedule under our door and found we had to be ready to go at 3:00 a.m. I did ask if we could possibly be squeezed in a little later, but no go...they're very strict on the 3-hr. policy so everyone gets to the airport on time. So, we debated sleeping a little later and getting a cab, but decided an hour's sleep isn't worth $55 !! Anyway, DH was really irritated and was anticipating that the shuttle wouldn't even get there for a long time, but sure enough, at 3:04, a shuttle arrived for us with another family already in tow! Yep, we caught a nap in the check-in line at the airport!
ME went like clock-work for us and I will most definitely use them again...that is if I can talk DH into another Disney trip in a few years!!! For some reason, he thinks we should give the girls "other experiences"
Any questions? Thanks to everyone who gave me info before our trip! We tipped both of our ME drivers, even the one without luggage!
