Hi. I would like to by my college dd a very good blow dryer but spend about $100. Is this possible? She has very long and thick hair and would love to get a good one for Christmas.
Can anyone PLEASE help me. I do not know what would be a good brand and price (or where to purchase...thinking of drugstore.com).
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Please help.
I have time at work to shop now.
Thanks!

i have a fhi and a chi at home, and a rusk speedfreak in our owners locker.
all are excellent. they dry my longish, medium thickness hair, as well as DD's INCREDIBLY thick (her ponytails are about 3-4x the thickness of mine), long hair.
all have the cool stuff: ceramic, negative ions......and we can really see the difference in our hair. they leave our hair soft and smooth (my hair frizzes with cheapy dryers), and do the job in a lot less time.
the rusk definately win for speed tho - that one has incredible power, and can dry my hair in just minutes!
btw, i bought them all (at different times;)) at ulta, with a coupon.

I had a Babyliss that I really like, very powerful. It started getting hot o. The handle like it was about to go out. I found a CHI one with the ionization stuff for <$50 at TJ MAXX. It works great for me and my younger daughter with all kind of thick hair, comes downstairs and uses it too. She recently invested in some ridiculous looking Conair brush with microfiber in with the bristles and says it helps too.

:cool1: I have the karmin g3 hair dryer, it works with ceramic heat which keeps the hair soft and smooth, it's professional so it's a little bit pricey but totally worth it. If you are interested you can check it out at safrons. com where I bought it. :D good luck girl :)

I have a Rusk SpeedFreak. I thin hair, but a ton of it so it took forever to dry with previous dryers. The SpeedFreak also makes my hair look less frizzy once it's dried. I bought mine at Ulta with a coupon.

I have a baby bliss and. Love it. It gets hit though so you can't up it too close to your head. It is great if you have really thick hair, which I do. I think it is the same model as the previous poster posted a link to, it looks to be the same.
